As much as he hates to admit it, our CEO, Anant, can’t go anywhere without his phone. In many ways, his iPhone 5S has become less of a gadget and more of a personal assistant. He’s not alone either. In our repair shop days, we would have many customers come in anxious because they “could not live” without their device. As you’ve probably noticed, people are going great lengths to ensure their longevity of their phones, from insurance policies, to bullet-proof cases, or on a small scale, screen protectors.
Yes screen protectors- the easiest way to help retain your phones function is somehow the hardest thing to apply. Even with Anant’s extensive experience he couldn’t quite master putting on those plastic coverings.
“I wasn’t trying to reinvent the wheel, but at the same time I couldn’t help but think, ‘There has got to be an easier way of doing this!’”
His frustration lead him to develop Simple Snap, the easy to apply screen protector and our ReNu Brand flagship accessory. What makes Simple Snap so innovative is the patented position-lock recyclable mold that is tailored to the specific device.
To use, simply pull off the plastic covering, push down over the device, smooth out the bubbles, and break the mold off.
Simple Snap comes in two versions. The HD Anti Finger Print Oleophobic protector has a 94% transmittance, 99.9% clarity, 3H surface hardness, silicon adhesive, and a total thickness 0.25~0.27mm.The Tempered Glass protector boasts 92% transmittance, 99.9% clarity, 9H surface hardness, Nippa silicon adhesive, rounded edges, and a total thickness: of 0.43~0.48m. Both covers are anti bacterial, anti oil, anti fingerprint, and are anti water up to a 103 degree tilt.
